Uptown Cafe, Louisville, KY
This commercial project took place in a upscale bistro based in Louisville, Ky's well
known restaurant district. It took about 6 days to complete. On this job we worked
in tandem with other talented faux artists and with our mentor. The wall treatments
done are like nothing else! This custom finish is a three step venetian plaster
that we call "Vinny Cappelini".

Here is a close up of the finish. It is very organic and complements the
decor extremely well.
The rest of the restaurants spaces were done in a mottled
metallic finish that is not only soft but also has a lovely
metallic sheen to it.
